Generate AI Responses

Generate AI Responses with Twitch Channel Points lets your viewers use Twitch Channel Points to trigger an LLM and generate a custom AI response. When a viewer redeems the reward and types a message, that message is sent to the AI language model along with your custom instructions, and the AI-generated response is read aloud on stream using your cloned voice.

You write the instructions, the LLM generates the AI response, and your voice delivers it. Great for creative and interactive Twitch stream moments.

How It Works

• Create a Channel Point AI Response Browser Source on your PotatoHotDog dashboard.
• Write your custom AI instructions - this is the system prompt sent to the LLM to guide how the AI generates its response.
• Use the {channel}, {user}, and {message} parameters in your instructions to include contextual information from the Twitch redemption.
• Add the generated Browser Source URL in OBS Studio.
• When a viewer redeems the Twitch Channel Point reward, the LLM generates an AI response and it is read aloud using your cloned voice.

Customization Options

• Custom AI instructions - write any system prompt up to 1024 characters to shape how the AI responds.
• Cloned voice - the AI response is spoken aloud using one of your cloned voices.
• Max response length - control how long the AI response can be, up to 1000 characters.
• Volume and playback speed - adjust how the voice sounds on stream.
• Custom script - optionally inject your own JavaScript code for advanced behavior.

Also Available as a Public API

If you want to generate AI and LLM responses in your own tools, bots, or overlays, the AI Response API is also available as a standalone public API. Supply your API key and a prompt instruction, and get an AI-generated response back directly.
