Display Video lets you trigger a video overlay on your stream using various Twitch events. Upload any MP4 video file, link it to an event trigger name, and a browser source URL is generated that you can add to OBS Studio.
Whenever the event is triggered, the MP4 video plays as an overlay on your stream. Great for reactions, animations, memes, or any visual effect you want to surprise your audience with.
How It Works
- Upload an MP4 video file to your PotatoHotDog account.
- Create a Display Video Browser Source and select your video.
- Enter the exact name of the event that should trigger the video.
- Add the generated Browser Source URL in OBS Studio.
- When the event is triggered, the MP4 video plays as an overlay on your stream in OBS Studio.
Customization Options
- Playback speed - adjust the MP4 video playback speed from 25% to 200%
- Volume - control how loud the video audio plays on stream
- Size - scale the video overlay to fit your layout
- Random location - enable random screen placement so the video appears in a different spot each time
- Random rotation - the video will have a random small rotation each time
