Channel Point TTS

Let your Twitch viewers use Channel Points to trigger Text-To-Speech on your stream. Set up a TTS browser source in OBS Studio and choose between a static AI voice or your own cloned voice.
Home Features Channel Point TTS

Channel Point TTS lets your Twitch viewers use Channel Points to send a message that gets read aloud on your stream using Text-To-Speech. Viewers redeem the reward, type their message, and the TTS voice speaks it out on stream.

It works as a Browser Source you add to OBS Studio. No extra software to install - just paste the URL into OBS and your stream is ready to speak.

How It Works

Setting up Channel Point TTS takes just a few steps:

  • Log in to your PotatoHotDog account and create a new Channel Point TTS Browser Source.
  • Select the voice to use - either a static AI voice or one of your uploaded cloned voices.
  • Copy the generated Browser Source URL and add it as a Browser Source in OBS Studio.
  • Create a Twitch Channel Point reward that requires viewers to enter a text message.
  • When a viewer redeems the reward and types a message, it is read aloud on your stream using the selected TTS voice.

Voice Options

You can choose between two types of voices for your Channel Point TTS:

  • Static Voice - pick from the library of free AI TTS voices. A quick way to get started with no extra setup needed.
  • Cloned Voice - use a voice you have uploaded and cloned on PotatoHotDog. Makes the TTS sound like you or any voice you have permission to use.

Customization Options

  • Volume - control how loud the TTS voice plays on your stream.
  • Playback speed - adjust how fast the TTS voice speaks.
  • Custom script - optionally inject your own JavaScript for advanced overlay behavior.
